Hello!

Hi everyone! I am new to this site. I would like to have lapband; however, Aetna will not cover my surgery. Does anyone know of a GOOD surgeon in DFW area or anywhere else in Texas that is relatively reasonable? Do any of the doctors partially finance? I have about $8,000 to put down. Thanks for the info!:)

Hi namazj click on the link in my signature and you will see my doc here in Dallas. He does self pay patients at the Surgery Center of Richardson. They told me in January that it was 15,000.

You can get financing fairly easily through Capital One Healthcare Financing if your interested.

Good Luck with what you decide and welcome to LBT.

I was going to mention the same place as the previous poster. The Surgery Center of Richardson (SCOR) does offer financing or you can do the CapitalOne thing. There are several docs. that operate out of SCOR. They offer informational seminars fairly regularly. You might also check out www.aigb.com That lists all of the docs. and their websites.

I am two weeks post-op. You're welcome to PM me if you have any other questions.
