My op is June 20th and the surgeon wants me to lose 14 lb by then. If it was that easy I wouldn't be having the surgery eh ? Did you guys have to do a special diet beforehand ? I don't think we do a l

LoL.....Im a little over 3 weeks away and I feel the same way!! Yes, you should have brought your chewable/liquid vitamins, Protein shakes, water, gatorate ect. Time will be here before you know it. :) Are you doing a pre-op liquid diet too??

Yeah I have to lose 20lbs :( .....Yes, I start my 2 week liquid diet on Tues. Its three protein shakes that replaces my meals. Besides water I can also have sf popsicles, jello and broth. Totally not looking forward to it.lol

So, I am heading out this weekend to get everything I need. I did not have to be on a pre-op diet. I already eat a very low carb diet now so the dr felt that was great! I didn't have to lose anything before I had the surgery however I decided I wanted to and lost 30lbs. I am keeping the surgery a secret to most so I want them to think I am just losing more weight. I also know the more weight the healthier I am on that operation table and that is important to me. Almost a week away and I am ready and very nervous. What is the scariest thing about the surgery to you guys?

I havent told any of my family members so the scariest thing is something going wrong during the procedure and they find out that way. :-/
