No Travel For A Month

Went to the pulmonary doctor today and found out that I can not travel for a month and I have to inject myself with blood thinners for 10 days. I have two trips planned for June, so is kind of a problem. They are trying to move up my date. Did anyone travel after their surgery? How many days did you stay in the hospital? Thanks for any help.

Well I will be travelling 4 days after surgery! I am having my surgery in Mexico on May 10th. Will spend 2 days in the hospital & 2 days in a hotel. Then fly from San Diego CA to Philly PA. Going to make sure I walk about on the plane & see if I can upgrade to business class on the way back.

I totally forgot people go to Mexico for this surgery. I think they are just being over cautious, which is a good thing.

You have to remember everyone is different. Do you have a blood clotting disorder?

You actually went to see a pulmonary doctor so maybe they know something we don't?
