We made it to Eagle Pass this afternoon from San Antonio. The drive is LONG but it's mostly uneventful. Checked into the Holiday Inn and have been chilling all day. For all of you who will be on a liquid diet, I highly recommend heading to the Asian restaurant called Chop Chop. They have about three or four soups on the menu and the Hot and Sour is outstanding!!! I ordered a to go quart and had it for dinner in the room tonight

Also there is a casino about 5 minutes away. They will come and pick you up if you call them. We went for about an hour or so and walked out $500 up. I'll update tomorrow after I'm up and about after surgery.
