Where is the pain? Someone else who posted was re-admitted because she had acid ulcers and everytime she ingested something the pain was excruciating. I wouldn't mess with this..I would call doctor.

I had surgery 4/24. I have tenderness and occasional gas pain but nothing I even need pain mess for. Been off them since 4/27.

Keep us posted & get checked out!!!

In my throat just like bubbles bursting no pain ..well shoulder n neck other then that I'm good. Can I have cream soup? Bored with liquids

Did your doctor say you can have full liquids?..im on clear for a week then starting Monday im doing full liquids..not sure what your doctors post op instructions are id ask about the cream soup

Had that cream of mushroom..oh my gosh...was what I needed...puree fist then strain then eat..

I think that surgeons who discharge their patients without prescribing or insisting on an acid reducer are irresponsible! The research plainly shows that the acid MUST be reduced to avoid pain and reflux since the stomach will be relatively empty most of the time and the acid will be just sitting in there boiling your stomach and esophogus.

What kind do you use? Prilosec ..
