Surgery Date Is 5/23 Cautiously Happy

Can't believe my date is finally set so scared but also so ready to get healthy.....hoping I come through good and no complications praying a lot. I have two small children and a wonderful hubby that need me to be healthy.

I'm 5' 3 weigh 248 looking to be about 175....anybody else getting sleeved in May what are your stats?

Is it possible to slow down you weight loss or do you just have to wait until it stops on its own? I know I sound crazy but I'm Latin and i've never been thin so while I do want to lose weight I don't want to be stick thin I think I would be fine between 170 and 175 so that is why I ask that question....thanks in advance can't wait to be on the loser's bench!

I'm on for May 14th!!

Interesting that you ask that question because it came up in our support group last month. The patient was told to stop exercising to stop losing BUT the risk for gaining increasing significantly!

Hiii so you will be the week before me pls keep us posted on your progress and good luck. Wow stop exercising and your chances of gaining weight increases that makes sense but maybe instead of stoping all together I can just cut it down to a few days a week (that is of course when I do start lol) thanks
