Thread Killers

Thought it might be fun to make a list of things that render an active, fun-loving thread... well, Dead.

I was reading the other day and I saw for the ka-zillionth time or so where some well meaning newbie jumped into a lively discussion to ask the question. You know the one... "What is a PB?"

Don't get me wrong, I am sure I did it too. Well maybe, I sure hope not.

What can someone post that will make you shut it down and walk away?

That is really a great weight loss in a short amount of time. My boss made the most fabulous cookies today. I will have to have a 120 calories protein drink for dinner to make up for those cookies.

Who stole my willpower???????

Hell, whomever took yours stole mine, too. I felt SO guilty this past weekend, because I felt like I did nothing but binge. The only thing that made me feel better was that the binge (at least the one on Thursday night) was a grande vanilla latte with whipped cream and 1/2 of a hamburger, instead of the latte, an entire hamburger, soda, and fries.

A kinder, more gentle binge. This is true of mine, too, these days. I do really need to get myself refilled, though.

Same here ... after snacking on leftover Halloween candy, I also had some of my son's birthday cake. The past 2 days I've made horrible food choices and feelin' pretty damn bad about it :faint:

We all have set backs. We can all get back on the bandwagon and

go back to losing. My binges don't last nearly as long as they did

pre-band. If I have a bad day, I make sure I am right back the next day following all the rules. In the past, its was always "I'll start again on Monday"

Keep it alive! This is a great thread.

i have tree frogs all over my yard. My son dropped a bucket of tad poles in this little creek I have behind my house. When it's raining really hard, they get all over my glass sliding patio door. I have to be careful when I open the door to take my dog out, so I don't smash them. I have had them come in the house several times. They are hard to catch to put back outside.
