  • Sorry, what was the question? ...I am 14 months out and have never noticed any "memory loss" and in my profession, I certainly would as I need to be on my toes.

I know I read a thread about it on here somewhere but I can't find it. I believe it is more common in bypass patients. But I'd sure like for anybody who has any info to comment....

The topic is on Ghrelin and memory in the research and statistics section. Lots is covered in that thread. Its been going on for more than a year now :)

What? Really? I've never even heard anything about memory loss.

I know I didn't have any major memory loss per say, but I would forget little things that I wouldn't before... like things I had to pick up from the store. I used to be able to remember a phone number but now I have to write them down, etc. Not entirely sure why... but I know it definitely started after surgery! Nothing major though.
