I was schedule to have the endoscopy done this Thursday morning at 715 am, I have to be at work by 9. So my question is will I be ok to go to work? Will my throat hurt? Would I be able to eat properly? Thanks everyone for taking the time to answer my question.

Maybe we will be sleeve buddies I should be finding out my surgery date on Monday, and while yes it is a teaching school, my doctor assured me that everyone who I will encounter as many years of experience with WLS

Why was the 14 day liquid painful?

Not painful I guess....just starving! You have no idea how you are addicted to food until it is taken away.
