Thank you.. such a great feeling to get on the scale and finally see it go down and feel like I'm really achieving instead of being a disappointment.

Thank you.. right now loving my sleeve. Kinda scared to incorporate mushy foods because what if I dont see the scale move. Reading about people saying need to up calories to lose weight.. I'm so confused. Guess will have to talk to surgeon about it

Don't worry just go slow. I actually had a six pound gain followed by a stall after starting mushies and freaked. But your body has been through a lot and you will lose again even if you stop briefly. This is for life and you can do this. Enjoy the ride.

Congrats!!! You are doing awesome!!!

I have to keep reminding myself that the numbers on the scale dont DEFINE WHO I AM.... that being said... it sure does make me want to do cartwheels when they DO go down!!! ;)

Saw the dr. Everything looks great. He said I'm doing great.. I can move on to next stage of foods..(mushy/minimal texture).. so scared because I love what's happening with the scale now. Still wanna see it dropping. Go back in one month..

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
