Surgery Date Scheduled For 3/27

Hello everyone I finally got my surgery date set for 3/27 Did anyone have to get a EGD - esophagogastroduodenoscopy done prior to surgery? The doctor this is something he likes to do prior to surgery but I didn't have to do a diet pre- op

Nope, I just did a liquid diet the day before the surgery. I did have to get a sonagram of my heart valves. ;) CONGRATS on your surgery date! ;)

Yes, I did. I also had to do the 2-week pre-op diet. My Dr. was very thorough and wanted to make sure everything was fine.
