How Soon?

How soon after surgery did you start working out intensely? I'm active now and work out now, but I read a lot about people waiting months to start working out. What was your experience?

I'm six weeks out and haven't worked out yet, mostly due to time/work issues. But that might explain my slow weight loss. My surgeon said you can start working out at 2 weeks post-op. I'm curious about other people's experience....

I was told that if all went well, I'd be cleared for full physical activity at 6 weeks. I have a pretty conservative doc too, when it comes to healing schedule. I'm 4 weeks tomorrow, so looking forward to getting back to the workout.
