I think every doctor requires some kind of pre op diet. Its horrible!!!!! Never been so sick :-(

I know of a few that do not require a diet beforehand. My doctor, Ponce De Leon, only requires a 3 day yougurt diet beforehand. I do plan on doing a traditional 2 week liquid one though. Maybe you should switch shakes? Did your doc specify that you have to use that one?

I totally agree! Im just so scared that eating the protein bars the dr told mr about and broth wont shrink my liver enough.

Yes!! I am doing the same thing. What is strange is I feel fine in the morning and I can pretty well handle the first shake. As soon as I begin on my second shake for lunch I begin to get progressively sick at my stomach. I have tried several different shakes but I still ending up nauseated. I thought it was strange! My surgery is scheduled for Wednesday so surely I can handle it 2 more days then I can go to clear liquids. I wonder why this is happening to us???
