9 Days Post-Op, 19# Down Since Dr Appt 2 Weeks Before Surgery!

OMG I would not have guessed it but had my 1 week followup with my Dr today, which is 3 weeks since my last appt with him, I've lost 19#!!!! Wah-hooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D The time goes by so fast and each day you feel so much better than the last that I didn't even notice it was working!! I mean it would only make sense seeing as how I eat like a baby now(!) but hey!! I feel great and it's working!! I can't thank everyone on this board ENOUGH for all the encouragement and support and wonderful advice as I've stepped thru this journey. From the months before when I was so unsure, to the day before surgery when I was pretty sure but still anxious/worried, to the days after when I thought I would starve! ;-) Tonite I had about 2 TBSP mashed potatoe with a hint of F/F sour cream and sprinkle of shredded cheese on it and man oh man was it delicious. I'm even getting used to it taking a good 8-10 bites to finish that amount, and a good 30-40 minutes but I'm finding it's more comfortable when I take it slow and small and yes, chew, chew, chew.

So I just want to say THANKS to all for the great advice and encouragement - - this is pretty cool. x 100
