ANOTHER fill on Tuesday..why I am not feeling much restriction?

Hi everyone again, I'm at 5 cc in my 10 cc band now and going for yet another fill on Tuesday. Could everyone please tell me what fill level they're at and if they're feeling restriction at that level and how many hours they feel comfortable after a meal?

I'm at 6.5 cc's and I go for my third fill on August 8th. I felt restriction for about 2 weeks since my last fill on July 5th and now I feel none. I'm hoping that this third fill is the charm. When I did have restriction, it was great and I could easily go 5 + hours without being hungry. Now, I'm hungry after 3 hours.

Yeah, just cause disneynut's at 6.5cc, don't go in telling your Dr. that you need 1.5 more cc's. (although, it probably would be a good amount for you) It's really so different for everyone. You just have to sneak up on it slowly. Does TLBC suggest anything, or are you on your own with deciding how much of a fill you're going to get?

I was banded on the 23 of May I have had one fill now I am starting to feel as I need another one I have only lost around 17 lbs in 2 months I feel as if I am at an stop I just started to exercise and I am hopiing to see some more lbs come off I was wonder how often should you get fills?

Hey Buffie - just found this thread... you might be interested in : http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=21084

Michelle - it really varies. 17 lbs in 2 months is good. If most of that came off in the beginning or something, then probably not so good. I've only lost 11 in the last 2 months. (but I know I need a fill) If you are eating too much, not full for long, and not losing 1-2 lbs a week for a few weeks in a row, you probably need a fill.

Good Morning Buffie, I don't really have any advice to give you on fills, but man your weight lose is looking great, are you sure you need a fill? You must be losing with alot of willpower still. But your doing great,

i'm gonna say be patient, but I always feel guilty saying that, cause I'm the worst one.:straight

I got "proper" restriction with the 3rd fill and am now at 6.5 cc's. I am not hungry inbetween meals.

Hey Buffie....I have a 10cc band and currently have 5. I do need another fill but can't get it until 25 Aug.....so just doing as best as I can until I have the fill to "help" me along!

Good luck/

Yo back Mandi!!! Just got home late last night...will tell more on my buffalo thread when I get there!! haha.

Can't go till 25th Aug cause this time the doc wants to do it under fluro at the hospital to see whassssup in there (remember my fill saga?)....so....c'est la vie!

Cloe, you're right, I'm struggling through each day on willpower alone, I'm ready to CRACK. In fact I've cracked a few times now. I feel hungry 2 hours after eating, I'm eating 1 cup of food per meal just so that I don't over do it. I hope tomorrow when I'm at 6 cc I'll feel something. Thanks everyone, what would I do without all of you? :(
