I am ready to go!!! Tomorrow we fly from Louisiana to San Diego, then over the border we go!!!!!! I am looking forward to having surgery on Monday with Dr. Garcia. I wanted to take a minute before I attempt a walk outside of the hotel to say thanks for all of the well wishes. This was a major decision to make and I am glad I have people who understand what i am going through. Add to that a supportive husband I am fortunate to have a good circle. I just want to encourage everyone to go for it and let you know that the bumps are going to be hard but it is worth it. I'm only a few days out but I've had every emotion in the world. Nevertheless I am happy and looking forward to the future.

I am happy about going to Dr Garcia and choosing Sandy at a lighter me. I had all of my questions answered and my process went smooth. The nurses were sweet and the dr was soft spoken. I left the hospital knowing I was in great hands.

Ok time to take a walk and get my broth. Later gators!

Did you need a special phone to call the USA while in Mexico? My mom will be going there soon.
