Hi everyone!! I've been lurking around here for months while I've been going to all my appointments and getting everything ready for the big day. Finally, I've been told that I have the insurance approval and they've scheduled my surgery for Feb. 9th. I'm excited, hopeful and very nervous. My doctor doesn't require a liquid diet (except for the day before the surgery) but as I've been reading, a lot of doctors do require it... so I figured I start a liquid diet as well, just to make things easier for him during the surgery. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the great posts. I have learned so much from all of you these last few months.

Congrats! Welcome to the 'approved' list I am soooooooo exctived for everyone getting sleeved in the upcoming weeks (including me!! Yay!!)... It is unbelieveable how supportive and informative this message board has been I can't wait to share before and after pics!!

I am excited for you. I have all my paperwork in and tests done. Just waiting for approval and surgery date. Should know this week. Can't wait to be where you are. Having the date set must truly be exciting.
