Rash.... It Itches Soooooo Bad

I was sleeved on Tuesday the 17th and about three day post-op i noticed my whole abdominal area has broke out in a rash... im thinking im having a reaction to the iodine but im now thinking it the binder that wraps around my abdomen... I called the dr and he said to use topical and liquid anti-itch medicine and remove the binder... I want to cry! Is this normal? How long will it last?

I had a rash from the binder as well. And, I still have another rash from the pain meds. I just stopped wearing the binder (solved that problem) and am using a topical ointment for the rash from the pain meds.

The binder made me feel secured... it feels weird not wearing it... i tried wearing over a tank top but i could not sleep last night and I ended it paging the Dr at 5am this morning. I went all day yesterday with no pain meds but had to take it around 530 this morning to get some sleep...

I ended up having a reaction to the bandages. It went away after a week. It was mildly itchy. I used Neosporin topical creme, and I tried different types of bandage adhesives.
