Road Map For Weight Loss?

Just wondering if any one else got a road map for % of weight loss. My Dr said 30% excess body weight in 3 months was what is anticipated. Does that seem about right? Did you get any guide lines?

Thanks, as always.

Did not get any type of info on this after my surgery. I think it depends alot of what your weight is, how much food you take in and what types, if you exercise and other factors. Everyone is different and no 2 people lose at the same rate.

I think setting goals like that will set you up for disappointment. Try not to "expect" any milestone in any kind of time frame. Instead, celebrate your individual experience. The weight doesn't always come off in the way we would like but it does come off. Try not to compare yourself to anyone else.

I agree with dramagirl28. I was talking about this to my partner tonight; she was asking me what my goals are. I think at this stage in the game, there's really not much more I can do to lose weight any faster... plus I'm not sure it's healthy to do so.

Maybe when I approach the fourth and final lap of my weight loss journey and things slow down again, or I stall for a period of time... maybe then there will be something I'll need to do to stay on target.

But right now, it's enough to just make sure I get in my Protein and liquids on a daily basis.
