Vagina Question!

Recommended Posts

So I've always been a huge fan of baths! I can literally sit for hours reading in tub!

Now that I've lost a lot of weight I'm noticing strange thing...

After spending some time in my ridiculous garden tub when I go to get out of the Water there is a.... well a 'draining effect' if you follow my meaning... an amount of water dribbles out.

It never seemed to happen before I lost the weight. Is this a normal thing?

Its not bothersome... just another interesting thing to get used to.

My guess is that before, when you were heavier, your thighs and lady parts kept the Water out. Now that you have lost some weight...the water can sneak up there. I don't think it's anything to worry about. It happens to me when I swim all the time.

Living the dream,

Laura

Hmmm...Okay, resisting all urges for some crass humor...

I have lost 33 lbs., and I have noticed that my excess skin, er, holds more Water. Our folds are very susceptible to capillary action, which is when water flows up vertical surfaces or seems to be draw along a surface.

Our folds, especially when it is water form a tub or such (our folds are literally floating away from our bodies in the water) catch a lot of water, and that is what is probably happening to you. As long as it isn't discolored nor has any smells I would not be concerned.

With my newly increasing folds I dry, and dry again with a towel I have "treated" in zinc oxide. It helps a lot. I have started to take a small bit of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste along the inside of my folds (sorry being blunt but am I mentioning anything we all don’t have? lol). It prevents heat rashes, etc.

>>to treat a towel in zinc oxide, take an impermeable laundry bag or a cotton pillow case with a 900 thread count or so and out a plush towel and about a half cup of gold bond in the case, seal thoroughly. Run on medium heat for about 20 minutes. It saturates the towel and the medium heat fluffs the towel and allows for better saturation.

Avoid eyes with this towel!

Yup, happens to me sometimes. It is weird feeling, but figure "whatever" lol Ah the joys of womanhood!

Pookeyism, that's great advice about the zinc oxide treatment for the towel... I will definitely look this post up again if heat rashes become a problem (and I suspect they will).

Same thing happens to me. I wonder if it's because I rarely took baths before or because we have actually lost weight in our vagina as well leaving more room for Water to go....scary thought eh?

Thank you everyone for your well wishes! I totally forgot I wrote an update here... I'm one week post op today. I gained 15 lbs in water weight overnight because they had to give me tons of fluids to bring my BP up after surgery! I stayed one night in the hospital. Everything has been fine except I seem to have picked up a bug while I was there and I've been running a low grade fever, coughing, and a sore throat. So I've been hydrating well and sleeping a ton. So far the Covid tests are negative.
I haven't been able to advance my diet past purees. Everything I eat other than tofu makes me choke and feels like trying to swallow rocks. They warned me it would get worse before it gets better, so lets hope this is all normal. I have my follow up on Monday so we'll see. Living on shakes and soup again is not fun. I had enough of them the first time!! LOL

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
