Slimes?

So I think I may have just experienced what I have heard referred to as "the slimes."

I got sort of hot flashy and felt like I might throw up. My mouth started watering excessively- I couldn't swallow so I just kept spitting it out. It was very watery saliva.... Not thick like I expected...

Does this sound like the slimes or was I really just fighting off a wave of nausea?

Nope, you had the slimes....I still have my lapband and get it whenever I eat bread or do not chew my food enough...

That was the slimes. Ick. If you had thrown up, you might have had a bubble of slime that preceded the rest of the stuff that came up--sorry if too graphic, but trying to let people know what to expect. I was pretty surprised the first time that happened. Hopefully you won't have them again!!

Yup ... that would be a perfect description of slimes.

Well, I'm glad it happened while I was at home! PEVette- I had just had a little bit of bread... First time since surgery.. I wonder if that is what did it. I had a tickle in my throat from it and I took a sip of something to get rid of it because I didn't want it to turn into full blown choking... Well.. slimes it was!

Thanks guys for confirming for me, I know it is sort of a gross topic.
