That Last 2 Lbs........

I'd love any advice from you that have made goal.....

I can't seem to get this last 2 lbs off...it's been 3 weeks, scale's not moving. HELP!!

I'm not eating anything "bad" I'm eating same as i have for the last 6 months....

My goal was to lose all 70 lbs in 6 months....well, that goal came 2 days ago, and I missed it. :(

What advice can you give me.

Thanks

If you are working out vary your routine. The body is a tricky beast and it can get used to your workout schedule and plan accordingly so you want "starve", it harks back to our caveman days. If you are doing cardio, switch to some weight training. I have found that a heavy leg workout with weights (largest muscle group in the body) will shed lbs overnight!

it is really common to stall around 6 months. my advice would be to not worry about the pounds lost by a certain date. you may stay around this weight for a little while until your body readjusts again. i slowed from months 6-8 and have suddenly started losing again. as long as you stick to your program, it will happen!!

take a vacation from your scale for a couple of weeks, if you can.

My only advice would be to shake it up, change the eating around, the exercise. Your body may just be used to the same old same old.

In addition to what others have said, add Water. I notice if I slack off on meeting my water goal, my weight goes up a little. And you may have to cut back on calories a little to lose the last two pounds. The lower your weight, the less you need, so you may have arrived at the break even point.
