Post-op 10 Days

I just had my sleeve done 10 days ago at Brandon Regional Hospital in Brandon , Fl. by Dr. Alfredo Fernandez . I went to surgery weighing 259lbs and now have 14.5 weight loss . I am still on liquids . I thought that after the surgery I would only be able to hold 2 or 3 ounces but I can drink 8 ounces down all at once with no problem . This has me worried . thanks, pickles

You should probably try to drink a little slower, since there is some danger of stretching the sleeve or possibly causing a leak by ingesting too much too quickly. However, with liquids, it's easier to drink and not feel restriction because they tend to slide on through the stomach.

Good luck!! :)
