    That is normal to have the stomach and chest pain when swallowing or drinking rather . It will slowly get better. I have that same thing. Now it has been 11 days post op for me and mine is lessoning by degree. You can get Georges aloe vera drink from Publix and that will soothe it .

    My surgery was yesterday and my surgeon said everything went great. Now today I'm starting my liquids slowly . I'm having chest pain especially when I drink and stomach cramps , is this normal? My Dr checked my heart and said is ok .Could this be related to gas? Any tips on drinking the first time ? Everytime I drink feels horrible, my belly hurts and my chest does this gets better ?
