I'm new on this site and I am interested in the lap band surg. I would like info from people who had it.

QUESTIONS

1. Where on the east coast can you have the surg?

I live the dc area.

2. who are the doctors, where is clinic and the cost this is self pay. Thank you so much.

I am in New York City, I am self pay, I would suggest you look for surgery in Mexico, cost run roughly 8000 up to 10000 dollars there. All inclusive. Try joining the yahoo groups at http://groups.yahoo.com/ and search for mexicanbandsters. You will be able to find lots of info there.

Do your own research and don't let anybody try to sell you a package.. Always talk to the doctors offices directly and don't go thru resellers. They tend to scour those groups for leads i.e. Belighter.com ( they are bad news )cough cough....
