Puree Phase

OMG! I just had some egg drop Soup, it was so good and settled in my stomach so well. It's super tasty! Anybody have any puree soup recipes?

On another note, I had my 1 week follow-up after my surgery and the Dr informed me that I had h-pylori..... anybody else out there have that? I start taking antibiotics tomorrow... I hope it works!!

Ciao,

L :blush5:

I had H Pylori. The antibiotics were hard for me to take because they made me nauseous and left a bad taste in my mouth. It was a long 2 weeks but it's completely gone now. I also had to take some other stuff in addition to the antibiotics.

I just finished the puree stage and egg drop soup was one of my favorites too. Another thing I did was take a can of beans and pour it into a pot (with all the liquid from the can, don't drain it) with some boxed chicken broth. It is super high in protein and fiber and very tasty. You can use pretty much any beans you like. I did it with cannellini (white) beans and also with black beans. You don't need to puree the beans because they are so soft anyway. I would also sprinkle in a little grated Parmesan cheese for some flavor.
