Congratulations! My surgery is on the 16th! (I sound like a broken record :blush2:, I am so darned obsessed with this website!)

Anywhoo, welcome! Read away. Tons of great information! As good and experienced as my surgeon and his team are, there is no way they have time to teach us everything I have learned here.

Come visit us on the November Sleevers forum.

I don't really have any tips, but I am being sleeved the SAME DAY!! WooooHooooo! My Dr has us do a pre-op diet & that is really tough, but it is almost done, right... Of course I have lost like 5lbs on it and my, always skinny hubby, thinks I should cancel the surgery & just diet!! Seriously, he is just worried about the actual surgery, he told me once I am out of the OR he will be positive, until then he is neutral LOL... such a worry wart!

November 14th seems to be a popular day for surgery. That's when mine is scheduled also! Halfway done with the pre-op liquid only diet (you lucky ones who get at least one meal daily or vegetables!)

Anyone thought about how they are handling Thanksgiving? Luckily dinner is not at my house this year. My family all knows so I I have been relieved of having to bring any food. I will be up to full liquids by then so I'm thinking maybe cream of chicken soup!!

Debi C., I'm getting sleeved on the 15th~ I had my pre-op visit & labs today. While there, I bought some cream of mushroom soup, tomato soup & cinnamon hot chocolate. I bought some pre-mixed protein drinks on the internet also. Hoping that with the variety, I won't feel deprived on Thanksgiving. Best of luck!
