I took very little with me to the hospital as they had everything there, but on arriving home I made sure I had Gas X strips and liquid Tylenol. They seemed to be two of the most important things. Someplace on here is a great list of things you should have on hand.....maybe someone could bump it up for you. Good luck.

I do not have the exact date yet. I am a teacher and I hope I can get this done before school starts. I have an appt thursday to schedule my surgery.

I have been told by the nutritionist to stock up on the following

1. Water (There are flavored waters out there with Splenda) which taste great.

2. Jello

3. Clear broth

4. Protein drinks.... at www.i-shop-here.biz are some great Protein Drinks. They have all different flavors. And if you spend over $50 its free ground shipping. I have been trying all different protein drinks and Protein Bars. The protein bars (especially the toffee ones) are great and I have been practicing chewing them slowly and they actually melt in my mouth. I will try them out when I am on mushies. See if I can eat them. They are great for Breakfast. :biggrin1:
