Hi Everyone. I have spent some time this morning reading your stories and am so happy for all of you, progressing/reaching your goals. My surgery was Monday 9/12 and I am really ready for this part of the journey. I started with my seminar in 12/2010 and had to do a 6 month supervised diet before getting approval. My biggest fear is that this will not ultimately work. I hope that with the support of all of you here I will be able to get past the hurdles and stumbling blocks that I know are ahead of me.

I also got sleeved on 9/12. Mixed feelings and really hoping that this will work for good! Unfortunately I have not found a support group in my area and this site is wonderful! Thank you all for posting your comments and experieces.

I'm not a in person support group type of person although my surgeon's office has one. It's just not who I am. I know I can get what I need from a good online group and not have to take the time away from my family.
