I am 4 days post op. Everytime I swallow I feel pressure in my chest. I try to relieve it by burping, but that won't happen. Is this typical? Any suggestions?

Sip small and slowly, very slowly. You may be taking too much in at once. Hope it gets better.

I had the same problem and it lasted about a week. Sip slowly and it will pass in time. Good luck!

I hated that! It will take a week or so. I found warmer liquids went down easier. It does get easier to swallow later but it sure feels weird when you thru this phase.
