  1. I am 4 days post op. Everytime I swallow I feel pressure in my chest. I try to relieve it by burping, but that won't happen. Is this typical? Any suggestions?
  2. My surgery is September 1st. For some odd reason, no one talked to me about the two week pre-op diet. I just happened to call in two days ago to ask about another concern and they asked me how I was doing on my two week diet. I had no idea what they werre talking about. They called the surgeon and he said if I stay totally on protein drinks only for the following 6 days he could still do the surgery. I will say I have lost 60 pounds on my own, so I know my liver has to be smaller than it was. Does anyone know if I can drink something like Crystal Light as well as the water along with my 5 protein shakes a day?
