Hi everyone!!! I have completed everything in my process to getting the sleve....now I have the pre-op surgeon visit on 9/16/11. When the nurse called to schedule it, she said to be prepared to stay 3-4 hours. Why??? Just wondering what all they do and go over during this visit. Thanks for your help in advance my friends. Call back and ask what happens during that time frame ... then you won't have to wonder. During my pre-op visit I filled out paperwork and asked some questions. But it didn't take that long! Good luck.

Hmmm, I haven't had my pre-op yet either, mine is on 9/7, but it is going to take about that length of time as well. From what I've heard my surgeon just talks about the surgery, asks/answers any questions, and talks about the pre-op diet and the post-op diet. They probably also tell you to expect to be there that long in case the surgeon is running late or something like that...

Mine is also on the 16th and I was told that I will also be meeting with the anesthesiologist too along with the surgeon and signing all the surgical forms. Mine will be done is a round table setting with 3-4 patients having surgery on the same day.
