Insurance after sleeve

I was denied health insurance because of my weight and the only insurance I could find was far too high for me to pay. ($630 / mth) I am otherwise healthy. I will be traveling to Jerusalem hospital next month for the gastric sleeve. After I loose the weight I would like to find some medical insurance but I don't know if I should mention it or not. I'm thinking they will not let me get insurance if I tell them. Also I'm sure if they do they will exclude anything related to it. Anyone have any insight into this?

If you don't tell them they can cancel your policy at any time if they find out. And they surely will. One would think that having had the surgery would be a plus for them, but who knows....

I've heard that most individual policies will not cover you. You could call a few and ask to see what they say.
