I had my VSG surgery on Monday August 1st. When they were wheeling me out the recovery room my stomach was growling. My surgeon said my surgeon said I did so well I could go home on Tuesday. I was told 64 oz of Water and 60 grams of protien shake.
My stomach and bowels growl and make noise constantly. I can't drink hardly anything. I have managed half a bottle of water today and half a can of protien shake. I feel hungry. I honestly didn't expect to feel hungry...and i couldn't even eat a sugar free popsicle.
