Feeling yucky today

Actually I started feeling bad last night. I am not sure if the soup I ate maybe caused gas or what. But I am having a pain near the top of my stomach, like around the middle of my breast bone. Just sort of feels like a huge air bubble. I have a tiny incision there, but that seems fine. I also have like a 1 inch incision about 6 inches directly down (not the drain one) and it sort of feels like a knot is under that. Could it just be scar tissue? Anyone had anything similar? Cathi

How far out are you from your surgery? If the pain has not went away, please call your doctor.

As far as the bump feeling under the incision that is normal and will go away over time. I have the same thing and had it when I had my gallbladder out.

I am 15 days out. I had my gall bladder removed and the pain isn't anything as severe as the pain of the gallstones. I sort of feel like it hurts to take a deep breath. I've been do my little breathing thing with the balls and have no trouble elavating them. Maybe its the dag gone heat! Cathi

You should call your doctor if you start to feel worse. A friend of mine had lap band done a week before I had my surgery and she was feeling bad and said it hurt to take a deep breath. Finally her doc told her to go to the ER. She had blood clots in her lungs. She is out of the hospital and fine now. And I'm not trying to scare you, but just want you to know, its still possible for blood clots.

Hope you feel better soon and its nothing.
