Hi everybody! I am officially Day 3 Post-Op and already feeling a little better than the two days before! I am still having some soreness/pulling feelings around my biggest incision site. I think it is normal to be sore for a while, but I was just wondering when most of that pain went away for you! It's not bad enough that I take the prescription pain meds for it; I only take them at night so I make sure to get a good night's sleep, but I guess I'm just looking forward to the day when they go away.
Also, I am having a hard time getting all of my protein supplement in. I was wondering, which is more important: to stay hydrated throughout the day, or to get the protein in? I feel like I have to sacrifice something because my tummy can't handle all those fluids yet! I feel so full! Any advice?
Thanks guys. Everybody on here has been a life-saver, and while I've had a few teary moments since surgery (just feeling a little lonely and down-in-the-dumps) you guys remind me all the time that this was the best decision I've ever made and I'm so excited about my new journey! Thanks for the support!
