I vomited old blood and slimy stuff. Yuck ! Doc said its ok and called in something for nausea for me to get tomorrow.

I did the same thing my first day home (2nd day post op)

My doctor told me it was my body trying to get rid of nasty stuff in my tummy. Took my nausea pill and antacid that evening and next 2 days and didn't have it again.... Hope you feel better!

Yeppers, i did that twice because the morphine gave me horrible nausea. It was pretty distrubing to see all that gunk come out. They kept telling me it was totally normal though so I wouldn't worry. Just want to be sure your nausea is under control. They wouldnt let me leave the hospital until it subsided.

Just vomited again. Have only had one dose of nausea Med so far. I will take more in. 1.5 hours. Hope I am done with this phase soon! Haven't taken any pain med since I have home
