Vitatmins - what should I start taking pre-op?

I'm just curious if anyone had a good recommendation of what types of vitiamins I should start taking now. My surgery is a month away in Mexico, but I want to give my body a head start.

Actually I'm kind of curious about pre-natals. Has anyone been taking those for your Vitamin intake?

I took "Barriatric Advantage pre op" vitamins. 2 a day as noted on bottle. Lots of Biotin too. Good luck wtih upcoming surgery date.

I have been taking prenatal (other Vitamins make me sick) for my pre-op and no problem, my nutritionist said take what you normally do pre-op then after I have to use Bariatric Advantage

Here are my guidelines...

- daily multa, twice daily (should have 100% dv of most Vitamins and minerals)

-B1 (thiamin) 50-100 mg daily

-B12 sublingual, 2000-3000 mcg weekly

-Calcium citrate, 500 mg, 3 times daily

-D3- 1000-2000 IU daily

-Iron as needed 45-60 mg daily

I do a multi, biotin, b-12 a few times a week and calcium citrate a few times a week. I took D-3 last month, but my levels are fine now. I don;t need iron or I would be taking that too.
