One week out and soooo hungry

So my surgery was friday the 24th and I am starving!!!!!! I thought the hunger with this surgery was suppose to be minimal. I keep thinking I've gone through all of this and I could have just starved myself without surgery. Anyone else have this problem?

Well...I had surgery on the 21st and I am hungry but not nearly like before surgery. Of course I am only drinking about 500 calories per day right now. I am hoping to feel the restriction when I move on to food. I could drink a lot and have no problem swallowing.

So you are not alone. Hang in there!

Are you on an acid reducer? Still on liquids? Liquids stage is really difficult, and I did have some hunger then. It should get betrer when you move to the mushy stage. But acid can induce hunger like symptoms too. Protein drinks help too.
