Where do you have your stitches removed? Primary care?

I didn't have any external stitches. I wore steri-strips for ten days after surgery and then after they fell off, the incisions were stuck together. Some surgeons do use external stitches, and you can go to your PCP for removal. Kaiser health group, here in California, gave me a "suture removal kit" after I had a cyst removed last year and I took out my own stitches after 10 days.

No stitches. Incisions closed with some kind of glue. Just kept cover with guaze and tape for 10 days. Healed nicely.

I had stitches and my wife took them out after 10 days. It was real easy, a simple clip and then pull through. No pain or issues. You can go on youtube and watch a couple of videos.
