I'm hoping this will bring some of you out of the woodwork! lol. I am planning on getting a band to sleeve revision done during my break in nursing school at the end of August. (I say hoping because I am waiting on insurance approval for now.)

Who else is out there waiting for the BIG DAY in a couple months?

Hi everyone, Im from NJ and my date is AUGUST 30th (pending approval). Im so nervouse, excited and a lil scared. My BF is getting hers done on the 18th so we will be supporting each other (sleeve sisters) thru this.

I think it will be August for me too. This is a revision for me from the lapband. I was going to wait for the province to pay - but it could take years - so I am off the Mexico myself, spoke to the Canadian lady this afternoon - and I have requested August - so finger and toes crossed!

Had my pre-op testing yesterday and the EKG was abnormal so instead of going on vacation today, I spent several hours waiting to see the cardiologist for clearance... and I still have to go back tomorrow for testing! Now I'm worried I won't get to go on vacation or get my surgery. Fingers crossed tomorrow's test is all I have to do and everything will be back on track.

I am having the gastric sleeve on August 3, 2011 with Dr. Almanza in Tiajuana, Mexico.

I'm having mine on the 19th. Dr. Rodriguez in Tijuana too.
