That's awesome! My husband and I both are having it done! I think it will be wonderful to have someone to support you that knows exactly what you are going through. He is going first and then I'm going two weeks later. I can't wait for the chance for new begginings. My BMI is 51 and I weigh 321 lbs. So I have a lot to lose. But looking forward to the journey of my life. I hope we can stay in touch!

Hey hang in there I haven't started my pre-op diet. I have to say that I'm a little nervous but I know it will be ok. It's reading about other peoples journey's that seem to help. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah! I know you are excited! I met with the doctor yesterday and mine has been postpone for awhile I'm so sad! Will be thinking of you!

I'm shooting for August, my husband and I both are getting the gastric sleeve. We've already been for all the required things before surgery. We go to the doctor on Thursday to schedule a date. He is going first and as soon as he is able to look after himself I will go. I'm so excited, I'm thrilled. I've overweight since I was in the second grade. All my life it's been on you have such a pretty face. I know people mean well but that was like spitting in my face. I'm 51 and I have fibromaylgia and some other health issues. I know getting off this weight will make me feel better all the way around. I guess next week we will be starting the pre-op diet. Good Luck on your surgery, will post when I know something.652
