FRESH FRUIT

Hello Everyone,

I had my sleeve surgery 4 weeks ago and now with summer approaching, I am craving all the fresh fruits.

How long did you wait to eat fresh fruit? I know we have to watch eating things with seeds.

Happy Friday Eve.

I was told I could have soft, peeled fruits three weeks post op but I waited closer to 5 or 6. I am loving watermelon and will occasionally eat strawberries with no issues. I also had a few bites of banana and pineapple. I am not a big fan of fruit so I haven't had much else but I've had no problem the times I did eat it. Good luck! :)

my instructions say canned fruits are okay week 3 thru month 4, no seeds for 2 months, and month 5 and beyond fresh fruits/veggies are good if they do not have tough skin or hulls (like apples, corn).
