HELP!! Swallowed gum!!

I am so freaking out right now!! I am 7 days post op and accidentally swallowed the piece of sugarless gum I was just chewing!! Do you think I should be worried ? Should I try to throw up or what?? What would you do??

I would suggest that you call your doctor immediately. Your doctor can help you the best for this. Good luck

I would say that if it went down and you have no signs of a PB, it probably passed into your large stomach and you will be fine. The concern for gum I believe is that it could get trapped in the stoma, which you would almost certainly feel. If you feel fine, you probably are.
