The taste of food changes...I think it is due mostly to anestesia. I hope I spelled that right..I am just now kinda sorta getting my taste buds back. I am almost 3 months post op.. It will get better you just have to give it some time..

For me this is something that didn't last all that long (unless you consider 2 months a long time). I was glad though since I couldn't really eat much anyway. ;)

No worries, it shouldn't last forever.

It's probably ketosis, the body is burning fats and it leaves a coat on the tongue and gives everything a funny flavor, my breath also smells funny - at least to me.

It lets up after a few months but 4.5 months a LOT of food still tastes "off" to me.
