New to the Group

My name is Renee and I reside in Texas. I am in the beginning stages of researching the lap band procedure. I had my first consultation with Dr. Powell in Richardson yesterday and am registered to attend a seminar in July. I would greatly appreciate any hints or suggestions anyone might have before and after the surgery. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    Welcome to LBT. There are many bandsters on this board who hail from the Great State of Texas.

    AS far as the hints for before and after surgery, all I can say is read read read. Do a search on LBT and many many threads will pop up, all with great information on them. Avail yourself to the resources here.

    If you have a specific question, go to one of the different sections on the board (general discussion, support, etc.) and post a question there.
