I'm New

WOO This is a bit surreal. I never ever ever thought that I would sign up for weight loss surgery. But here I am 29yrs old, 340lbs and scheduled for VSG 5wks from now. Amazing.

I'm all a bundle of nerves both good and bad ones.

Looking forward to the journey to a healthier me...for myself, my husband, and our 4 great kids. I want more than anything to be able to run and play with them at the park and hopefully I'll be able to do that very very soon.

I'm right there with you. Looking forward to surgery, but somewhat apprehensive. I'm scheduled for April 13 and weigh about the same as you. Let's stay in touch and encourage each other. It will be good to have a sleeve sister!

YOU can do it. I am down almost 50 pounds and I can't tell you how great I feel. I did this for my husband and my two small children. I want to live a long and healthy life with my family. Nerves are very common. You will get through this and feel great!

Hello Apple-saucy;

Congratulations on taking charge of your life. You are willing to step up and will see great results. Imagine all those things you want...like playing with the kids and husband. Not all dreams will come true within first couple of months but good things will happen as you continue to loose and change habits. Anxiously await to hear about your journey.
