Got my date!

My surgery is going to be April 13th. It's coming up quick! I will have a few days of liquid diet before hand. Going to a pre op class on Wednesday, and then will have the pre op appointment on April 7th with the NUT and the surgeon. I'm getting pretty excited so I have a coupe of questions

What would be the best advice you can give?

And what should I pack my bag with for the hospital. I will be there for 1 or 2 nights.

Congrats on the date ... it will be here before you know it!

Congrats! The following is a start for what to pack:

Dressing gown

Nightie? (I didn't use mine as I used the hospital gown, which was good as my dressing leaked post shower blink.gif)

Slippers

Lip balm

Tooth brush

Tooth paste

Toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, comb, etc).

I took magazines, but was so tired from the anesthetic I didn't read them although you may be different.

Best advice is to follow your doctor and nutritionists plans, and walk after surgery as soon as you can and as often as you can.

Bring some comfortable footwear that can slip on and slip off
