OBSERVATION

Since being sleeved 1/26/11 I have had to taste the worst things I have ever had to in my life. Between the vitamins, liquid lortab, liquid carfate, protein powders and now I got a "shot" of liquid protein that tastes like dirty socks. This must be a form of punishment for tasting everything good I had before surgery. Feeling like I am going to have hair grow on my chest from it all!!!!!!!

Lol that's the absolute truth. I never forced down so many nasty tasting things in my life.

So true! blink.gif

I have no idea what the heck your doctor is having you take but all I took was some Flintstones chewables. As for the "shots" mix ONE ounce at a time with diet decaf tea or lemonade (about 3 oz). It cuts the taste and makes it easier. As the old saying goes....NO pain NO gain. I am 4 weeks out and have lost 42 pounds!!!! The gross crap is temporary and worth a good jump start to your weight loss. Good Luck!
