I am excited to see the gherlin levels stay down, I had been wondering about that since I've made the decision to do this. Sounds like ppi's might be in many of our futures..but small price to pay for overall improvement of health. Thanks for posting!

Very interesting. Thank you for sharing. I'm not too thrilled about the number of patients that had to revise to the RNY or the amount of reflux... but again, we're only talking about 26 patients.

Thanks so much for this info. It looks like the conversions were done because of reflux AND weight regain and the ppi's were for those that just had the reflux. So, as long as the weight stays down, I can take the ppi. Additionallly, the Gherlin level information is pretty exciting.

wow thanks

that kind of stuff is sooooo helpful for those of us who spin ut from time to time wondering if we can really make this work for the long term. I'm 8 lbs from goal and I am going to work like crazy to maintain!!!!!! At 10 mos out I take one PPI in the morning and have no problems. At first I took two a day but had no trouble cutting back.
